ABOUT US
Made In Zed was founded by Malama Kalaba as a way of showcasing someof his friends' talents in order to help market them. It is an initiative for youth empowerment (well at least one step towards that avenue) and unity among the Zambian people. Asides from this Malama has also helped create blogs and website for mental health and online trade... among other things.
Made In Zed the website/blog is made to promote unity among Zambians. Under the impression that Zambians do not get enough coverage as dedicated professionals in their fields, Made in Zed has made its primary idea to promote and encourage the growth of different skills as it both grows the solidarity of the people and the GDP of the country (if the skills is international).

At Made In Zed we ask the talents in Zambia all the hard
questions about their, talents, their aspirations, their motivations, their
disappointments, their embarrassments, and their vision for Zambia in their
various trades. At made in zed we explore marvelous talents around the country
and find out what they possess at the core. We find out the influences that molded
and shaped these great talents. We find out whether you are truly made in zed.
We all love to know each other, the better you know about
the other person, the better relationship you can have. However many would
agree that when push comes to shove and you are put on the spot no one really
wants to take the heat of such fire power. It’s like in an interview the
questions at times can be brutal, merciless, and without compassion. It is
these questions that allow us to get to know someone better and deeper.
The rules of this game are simple; If you think you’ve
got talent, we ask you questions. If you think you were made in zed we ask you
more questions. When you come to made in zed we make it black and white. It is
as simple as a monochrome war. Immediately you step in know that it will be
brutal and their shall be blood-shed. At this point know that mercy shall
definitely be scarce. We will always begin by firing, with a sniper’s
precision, 20 of our best shots aimed at your core. But we will not end there
just for control, and as a courtesy of course, we will always end you with our
bonus taboo question which will leave you squirming for mercy.
So as they say let
the games begin and may the best man win…
